Mark Nussinov

Mark Nussinov passed away on September 12, 2013 at the age of 88.
He lived in Israel during the last years of his life.
Dr. Nussinov was a physicist with a doctorate (PhD) from the Moscow Institute of Technology with an impressive list of academic appointments. Among them 20 years of Senior Research Fellow in the Space Research Institute RAS.
He was a scientist who achieved outstanding results in materials research in space.
He is authorship of a numerous scientific books and articles in international journals (“Nature”, etc).
He was elected as the “Man of Achievement” by IBC, Cambridge, UK (1995-96), and “Man of the Year” by ABJ, Raleigh, USA (1997).
